Cause and effect is explored, facilitating
an understanding of how the world works and how they can make things happen. Strength
is built with ramps and slides.

16 to 22 months
The Problem Solver
‘Motor planning’ is facilitated by encouraging
an understanding of patterns and actions they need to perform, in what order, to
reach a goal. Supports problem solving skills - understanding of how to get needs
met through action.

28 to 36 months
The Logical Thinker
Abstract thinking is encouraged, through
pretend play and storybooks. Building logical connections and helping understand
the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of things is facilitated. Listening & Language skills are
supported
